I am oriented towards quality. Software testing emphasizes looking at a product from different points of view, and testing it with different expectations to achieve the best quality. Testing the software, finding and tracking defects, presenting improvement ideas, automating processes to improve efficiency and reduce human errors– surely this is the most satisfactory job!

Favorite part of your job?
The ultimate purpose of software testing is to not only search for defects, but also to enhance the product quality. As a software quality assurance (SQA) engineer, I am contributing to improvements in the company’s product quality, thereby helping to grow customers’ confidence in the developed products.
Why did you join Elegen?
After understanding Elegen’s vision and its potential impact in this field, I decided to join this company because it introduces a fantastic opportunity for career growth and to gain experience that is more difficult to gain in a larger corporation. Besides utilizing my technical knowledge, I also learn to wear multiple hats and adjust my role to meet what is needed at the moment. I am able to improve my management skills to successfully coordinate with different teams and delegate tasks efficiently by recognizing the strengths and weaknesses in each team member. I believe we are more productive and organized than we were before, which shows me how much I can learn when I step out of my comfort zone and take on new challenges.
Favorite Hobbies?
I enjoy gardening, especially growing tropical fruits. And I love spending time with my baby girl, if that can be considered a hobby! My wife and I enjoy the outdoors and have a bucket list of places we want to travel. We want to explore all islands in Hawaii, go to Bali, Bora Bora, Banff lake in Canada, Austria, Switzerland, and the list goes on.
