What responsibilities does your job entail?

I am responsible for driving increasingly efficient synthesis of oligos using novel chemistries.

What’s your favorite part of the job?

I enjoy being sandwiched between engineering and molecular biology. I started as a nucleic acid chemist and have transitioned everywhere between transcriptional regulation to leveraging nano-scale CMOS devices for sequencing. There is always variety.
