We are a member of the International Gene Synthesis Consortium (IGSC) and follow their Screening Framework Guidance in our application of the Harmonized Screening Protocol to prevent the misuse of synthetic DNA. Elegen screens the sequences of DNA ordered by its customers to identify any regulated or potentially dangerous pathogenic sequences and verify that every customer is a legitimate scientist engaged in beneficial research.
